turnitin

The JISC endorsed solution for
institutions in the UK.

Register your institution

Before access is provided to this service, an institution must select a central account administrator, who must begin the registration process.

Students should NOT complete the registration process. Click here to enrol as a student.

To begin registration, click here.

If you would like to know whether your institution is already registered to use the service, please contact the Plagiarism Advisory Service for further advice.

Note: Registrations can only be accepted from "ac.uk" email addresses. This enables the Plagiarism Advisory Service to verify that registration requests come from legitimate members of HE and FE institutions. If you do not have an "ac.uk" email address but are interested in using the service please contact the Plagiarism Advisory Service for further guidance.

The following steps provide an easy guide to the registration process.

  1. After you have read these instructions please click on this 'registration link.'

  2. The 'registration link' leads to an online registration form. The account administrator must complete all required information for each text field, including the selection of two unique passwords for system access and enrolment.

  3. Click the 'Submit' button at the bottom of the screen. The information will be electronically submitted to the plagiarism advisory service.

  4. Confirmation that the submission was successfully transmitted will be sent to the account administrator via email, along with a unique registration ID number for reference.

  5. Once the account administrator is confirmed as a valid requestor of TurnitinUK, a hard copy registration pack will be sent to the account administrator for completion.

  6. Once all documents are received and reviewed by the JISC plagiarism advisory service, the registration will be transformed into an active account. Account information will be sent to the administrator via email.
